I got into photography four or five years ago. I started out using my GoPro and shooting videos both in and out of the water, from which I would capture the best moments and use them as still images. This enhanced my fascination for water photography and led to me buying my first proper camera and I haven’t looked back since.
My ambitions are to have a continued collection of photographs that people admire and ultimately like to hang on their walls and create images that are published in the media.
I was lucky enough to have my prints featured on the wall at The Harbour Gallery Jersey. The Art Gallery is located at St. Aubins Harbour.
This is the first of many exhibitions I am going to have my work at with the availability for purchase. In this exhibition, I have focused on a specific style of shooting with local surfers down at St. Ouens Bay.
When I started taking photos of surfing, it has always been a dream to have my shots featured in a surf magazine.
Since then, I have been featured in multiple surf magazines. With my shots getting such positive feedback from Carve Magazine, I have had double page spreads, with my constant goal to use my photography to show the world how amazing our island is.
I’ve been lucky enough to be involved with numerous big watersporting events. These included the British Cup of Surfing, Good Vibrations Surf festival, Super League Triathlon and the White Colour Surfing event. I have also worked on the Jersey Traithlon and for both the Jersey Surf and Rowing clubs.
